I've been a nail technician for three years. What attracted me to MAX Salon & Spa was my love for AVEDA products and the soothing, relaxing atmosphere here at MAX. I enjoy pampering my clients and making them feel beautiful! I specialize in manicures, pedicures, silk and fiberglass wraps, acrylics and nail art. When I was a little girl I knew exactly how I wanted to wear my hair and had to have my fingers and toes polished! In high school I did all my friends hair and nails for proms, dances, dates, etc. Little did I know I was already in training! I received my cosmetology training at Regency Beauty Academy in St. Cloud, and decided to move to the "big city" to establish myself. I worked as a spa specialist in Eden Prairie and as an AVEDA advisor before joining the team here at MAX. I love cutting, coloring, perming, manicures and pedicures, facials, make-up, and waxing services. Working at MAX brings the fun of high school slumber parties into my adult life, only now I get to meet and hang out with different friends every day!

My great interest in this field began in 1984. Since that time it continues to be a career I truly enjoy. My degree in Fine Arts and continuing education in hair has enhanced my cutting, coloring, and perming skills. I have maintained a long term clientele by listening to the details. I want every client that comes to me look and feel wonderful when they leave our salon.

I was born and raised in northern Iowa, the youngest of two boys. I was always attracted to the arts and music. As far back as I can remember I enjoyed working with my hands and creating works of art. I studied at the University of Northern Iowa and graduated with a degree in psychology and sociology. I attended cosmetology school in the Twin Cities and worked for a major national salon company. There I serviced my clients and began teaching and training other salons in cutting and coloring. After fifteen years as the top stylist in my salon, I stepped into salon ownership. What an awesome gift to be able to share with others what I love doing. We are so thankful for the wonderful staff of creative, friendly, and enthusiastic stylists and technicians! we have the opportunity to serve.
